An improved Buick Enclave for 2022

Since its debut in 2008, the Enclave SUV has proven to be a source of pride for Buick. The model was not the first utility vehicle in the brand's history, but it turned out to be the best. That’s why it’s still here 15 years later.

And for 2022, three years after its last redesign, Buick is making improvements that make its model even more attractive. Let's see what has been done.

A more assertive style

Buick did it right the last time it redesigned its model, but it went one stop further for the 2022 Enclave with some other interesting styling changes. New bumpers add to the character of the model. The new headlights and lights are more elegant and the wheels, redesigned, inject even more elegance. On the Avenir model, the grille has special features, the wheels are unique and there are even moldings to match the body color.

Interior alterations

Inside, the changes are fewer, but just as noticeable. First, the gear selector disappears from the center console when it is replaced by buttons. We find new rich surfaces and with the Avenir version, a new quilted leather comes to dress the seats. Up front, the seats can even massage you. New woodwork also marks the changes to the presentation of this very high-end variant.

Note also that the connection of the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto applications will be done wirelessly, as will the charging of cellular devices.

Safety

Finally, Buick has improved its offer in terms of safety. In fact, rather than offering several optional features, they've pretty much bundled everything together to offer nine standard items. As a result, with any Enclave SUV, we will now enjoy things like emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keeping assistance, blind spot warning and automatic low beams.

Truly, the Buick Enclave has never been more interesting.
