The GMC Yukon enters 2023 with more luxury and technology than ever before due to the new Denali Ultimate trim level, as well as other smaller changes.

The most luxurious Yukon ever

The 2023 GMC Yukon lineup welcomes its most luxurious trim level ever in the form of the Denali Ultimate. This version is distinguished from the regular Denali by its smoked chrome appliqués on the outside, its specific 22-inch wheels, its open-pore Paldao woodgrain accents and its Alpine Umber leather seats. In addition to these premium materials, the 2023 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate is equipped with 16-way power adjustable front seats with massaging function, an 18-speaker Bose Performance sound system, and a standard adaptive air suspension with magnetic ride control.

More technologies

The 2023 GMC Yukon is available with many new technologies that make driving easier and more enjoyable, such as the GM Super Cruise system. This technology allows hands-free driving on major highways in Canada and the United States, which makes the driver more relaxed and alert during long road trips. This year, the system has been enhanced and it is now capable of towing a trailer and performing automated lane changes. Driver and passengers also benefit from an advanced infotainment system that includes wireless connectivity to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in Amazon Alexa, a 10,2-inch screen and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Refined and capable mechanicals

The 2023 GMC Yukon is available with the same mechanical elements that have proved themselves over the last few years. This means that the standard powertrain is a 5.3L V8 engine that delivers 355 horsepower. Available on the AT4 and standard on the Denali and Denali Ultimate, the 6.2L V8 engine increases the power output to 420 horsepower. For a more efficient drivetrain that doesn’t compromise on torque, the 3.0L inline-six-cylinder Duramax diesel engine is also available. All of these engines are paired with an advanced 10-speed automatic transmission and a competent all-wheel drive system.
