GMC Sierra will feature Super Cruise technology

The GMC Sierra will soon benefit from GM’s impressive Super Cruise technology, until now reserved for the Cadillac lineup. The technology will find its way into the 2022 Sierra 1500 Denali.

Super Cruise is an advanced driver assistance technology that is the most capable semi-autonomous driving system on the market. The technology uses a Driver Attention System as well as LiDAR technology, real-time cameras, sensors, and GPS to map the environment and allow hands-free driving in certain situations.

The system monitors the attention of the driver as well, ensuring that he or she remains focused on the road. Still, the system can steer and control throttle to give the person behind the wheel a truly unique experience where the vehicle handles to road while you enjoy the comforts of the GMC Sierra Denali.
