GMC was Canada’s 7th most popular brand in Canada in 2021

GMC had another strong year in 2021 despite challenges faced across the automotive industry. Like every automaker, GMC faced supply issues that made it difficult to get vehicles to dealerships, but despite that fact the automaker managed to place 7^th among all brands in Canada for total sales last year.

GMC registered 80,063 vehicles in 2021, good for seventh place in the top 10 most popular brands ranking in Canada. Highlights of the GMC brand included the GMC Sierra which sold 53,757 units across the country last year.

Not only did the GMC Sierra sell more units than the Chevrolet Silverado last year, but it also had an increase in sales of 4% which in a challenging year is a welcomed result. GMC overall registered sales increases of 2% year over year.
