What are the Differences Between the 2022 GMC Sierra and the 2022 GMC Sierra Limited?

There are two full-size trucks to choose from under the GMC brand for 2022 but despite their similarities, the Sierra and the Sierra Limited are quite different.

The Sierra Limited

The 2022 GMC Sierra Limited is the same Sierra you have known over the past couple of years, with very few changes. This means that this truck is one of the most capable on the market and one of the most configurable, with four combinations of cab and bed lengths. Since it hasn’t changed much, the Sierra Limited is able to be priced much lower than you might expect, thus making it a great value.

Despite being more affordable than most full-size trucks on the market, the Sierra Limited is not a poverty model, since it is offered in a selection of trim levels that span the spectrum from a durable and tough work truck with the Pro version to a comfortable and luxurious family vehicle with the Denali version.

The Sierra

The 2022 GMC Sierra has received a refresh this year and it is now decidedly more modern, both in style and in terms of technologies. This new truck is distinguished by its new exterior appearance and its interior doesn’t disappoint once you step inside. Indeed, modern screens replace most of the buttons and dials of the previous model and a number of features have been added to the equipment list.

Something else that is new about the 2022 GMC Sierra is the Denali Ultimate trim that now sits atop the model range. This new version is the most luxurious Sierra pickup offered yet and it comes standard with chromed exterior accents, an umber full-grain leather interior and the latest version of General Motors’ Super Cruise driver assistance system, which can take control of the steering as well as the acceleration and braking on most Highways in Canada and the United States. For its introduction in this model, Super Cruise has even been enhanced with the capability to tow a trailer.
